| ¡¡Lung Meridians of Hand-Taiyin |
| ¡¡Course and Distribution ¡¡The Lung Meridian of Hand-taiyin starts at the gastric region in the middle energizer and descends to connect the large intestine. Turning back, it goes along the orifice of the stomach and passes through the diaphragm to enter the lung, its pertaining organ. From the pulmonary connection (the location connecting the lungs and trachea and throat), it comes out transversely from the axilla (Zhongfu, Yunmen) and descends along the interior aspect of the upper arm. Running in front of hand-shaoyin and hand-jueyin (Tianfu, Xiabai), it descends to the elbow (Cize), and enters into the cun spot----the place where the radial artery beats (Jingqi, Taiyuan) along the rim of the interior aspect of the radius. Passing through the greater thenar eminence (Yuji), it then emerges from the end of the thumb (Shaoshang). ¡¡Its branch: runs from the posterior wrist (Lieque) to the radial aspect of the index finger, emerges from its end (Shangyan) and connects with the Large Intestine Meridians of Hand-Yangming.
